The idea of the joint project arose from the common need of the project partners to combine the offer of cultural tourist attractions and events in the cross-border area Hodonín - Mikulčice - Kopčany - Holíč. Each of the partners offers tourist themes that have a cross-border overlap. The intention of the project is to move cross-border cooperation into the offer of thematic products that have a cross-border overlap and which, in their focus, combine several cultural heritage objects set in an attractive natural environment (floodplain forest environment) with the natural element of the Morava River. The common interest of both project partners is to create an attractive offer for visitors and to increase the number of visitors to cultural heritage sites, in particular by tapping into the cross-border regional tourism market.
Increasing the attractiveness of cultural heritage in the common cross-border region (Mikulčice - Kopčany - Holíč - Hodonín) on the Morava River, which was divided into two republics 30 years ago.
Increased visitor numbers in the cross-border area, improved access to natural monuments, improved promotion of the area, improved communication channels, targeted offer of services, increased awareness of the cultural heritage of the region, increased interest in cross-border cultural and social relations between the two peoples, creation of coherent thematic products based on the use of cultural heritage.
